On August 25, I gave a short lecture to the group introducing the basics of programming — what code is, how computers follow instructions, and where to start if you’ve never written a program before.
We walked through simple ideas using Scratch, a visual programming tool that’s great for beginners. Unaysa showcased what she built in Scratch after the session:
